Review of marc anthony strictly curls perfect curl miracle treatment

Writer: Nicole SophsNicole Sophs

I have naturally light waves. So, not wavy and not straight, right smack in the middle. Forever I have wanted to enhance my waves, make them more beach curls than the frizzy waves I have now. I picked up the Marc Anthony Perfect Curl Miracle Treatment at Bed Bath & Beyond and applied it in the shower. By reading the directions, I guess it's a substitute for conditioner, but I'm not exactly sure and couldn't find much about it online. I found so much information on other products under the Strictly Curl line, but none about the kind I picked up. Still wanting to test drive the product I gave it a whirl. It was only $3.99 and came in this nice travel/tester size.

After showing I used an old t-shirt to dry my hair. For this step you can either use a microfiber towel, or use a soft, cotton tee. I scrunched my hair for a few minuted before wrapping it in the shirt, and about an hour later I released my hair. I re-scrunched it and part my hair off to the side.

This was the end result, and as you can tell my hair is still a little damp. Overall, I like the item but definitely am not in love with it. My waves are bigger, but not defined and don't really have a shape. I have to say, I am very impressed on the frizz control. I thought this product might give me some frizz, but the frizz is barely noticeable. I think this product is worth trying, but not a real keeper.
